Monique is a yoga teacher, artist, and illustrator.

Vinyasa (various difficulty levels)
Meditation
Breathwork
Although she practiced yoga sporadically before the pandemic, her true relationship with yoga began in 2020 when she sought solace during challenging times. Starting with online videos, she discovered a deep connection with Ashtanga Yoga.
Initially unfamiliar with Ashtanga, Monique was drawn to how the practice made her feel, often inducing a meditative state through its locked sequences of athletic movements thoughtfully linked to the breath. This practice now informs her approach to teaching.
After months of practicing at home, she ventured into various yoga studios but often felt out of place until she found the ones that were truly welcoming. Monique became a yoga teacher (RYT-200) to bridge that gap and share the transformative experience of yoga with others. Her goal is to create a space that celebrates the beauty of yoga and is open to all, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
When not teaching yoga, sheβs making art and running her illustration studio.
